Mindfulness Based Programs

Dr. Tracy Ochester offers a number of research supported, mindfulness based 8-week programs that are designed to help people manage a variety of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and addictions.


Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
Designed to prevent the relapse of depression, MBCT is proving useful for people with anxiety and other mental health concerns. It combines mindfulness practices with cognitive behavioral strategies to improve overall wellbeing.

Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP)
Derived from MBCT, this program is for individuals in recovery from addictive behaviors. It integrates mindfulness practices and principles with relapse prevention strategies to maintain treatment gains and support wellbeing in recovery.

Mindful Self Compassion (MSC)
Combining the skills of mindfulness and self-compassion, MSC teaches participants how to tame their harsh, inner self-critic and approach themselves with kindness and care.
